Members of the Civic Hub engage in various types of programming aimed at increasing civic engagement and participation, including leading civic education, registering voters, and getting LGBTQ+ youth voters to the polls on Election Day.

the outvote civic hub

As part of the Civic Hub, you can register community members to vote, collect pledges to vote in primaries and major elections, help your peers make voting plans, and share crucial voting information that tends to vary by state. Let’s face it: With each state having its own guidelines and processes, voting can be an overwhelming endeavor, which is where we come in!

Civic Hub members will serve as advocates for OutVote, representing our mission of mobilizing LGBTQ+ youth to vote and build strong civic engagement habits early on. You will learn the ins-and-outs of voting laws in your state, be able to explain the processes of early voting and voting by mail along with relevant deadlines, and learn the basics of election protection. As our voting rights are under attack, it’s more important than ever for our communities to stay educated and informed with accurate voter information.

By joining OutVote’s Civic Hub, you are taking a major step toward helping us achieve that goal. Together, we can keep our friends, neighbors, and greater community members informed about elections and prepared to vote in November. Are you ready to dive in?
